Angela's black dress was taking on a simple yet formal look. It hung limply from her thin frame, its collar and cuffs whitening. Her boots had shrunken down to a pair of black heels, and her stockings had thinned into more appropriate pantyhose. Her vision blurred for a moment and a thin, dark veil drifted over her face. She looked glumly around the room and held a hand to her heart. Her eyes burned with imminent sadness, but she couldn't figure out why.

At first, I thought her veil was her new hair. I thought she became a matronly woman with a bob-cut. The reason is the veil barely obscures her face, and the shadow on the veil under her face. Even seeing her hair through the veil just looks like a shadow line. It was only after wondering about the black stuff behind her that I finally figured it out. The cross-hatching also is a hint, but I didn't notice it at first. I'm will to bet this was deliberate. You remind me of Dali. He was just a lot better at it, being a nut-job.
