Angela's Magic Lesson - Not a Lifesaving Device

Angela found herself getting closer and closer to the floor. Worried that she might be losing air, she fumbled around looking for leaks. Or at least she tried. Her arms melded to her sides, sinking inward. Her legs began joining together at the feet, until her whole body looked like a smooth, rubber donut. Angela somehow gasped from her drawn-on mouth as her face pushed outward. Two dull pops were heard as ovals suddenly inflated from the top of her hair like little ears.

Angela tried to budge from the floor of the archives, but all she could muster was a meek half-hop which only caused her to wobble like a dropped coin. Her bright colors weren't doing her or anyone else any good in the archives. What I'd really like, she thought, is to be carried to a pool.

Or better yet, worn.
