Angela's Magic Lesson - Pretty Princess Angelina

Princess Angelina stood tall and proud. Waves of joy washed over her as she watched her dress reach gently to the floor, now a full-length gown. The colors looked richer as delicate patterns emerged. The fabric seemed as though it was painstakingly hand-crafted in some far-away place, even though it was just an old purple tunic a few minutes ago. Whatever it was or however it got there, it was the most gorgeous thing the princess had ever seen. She felt a little added weight at the top of her head as a pointed hat with flowing ribbons rested where a tiara once stood. Makeup was lightly applied to her fair skin, making her blue eyes sparkle with delight.

She could hardly wait to reveal herself to her friends. Surely they'd be just as happy and excited as she was to discover that she was really a princess! But I can't just wander out into the halls, she thought. I wonder when Underborough High's next ball is going to take place?

She nodded to herself. It was decided. She would wait until the night of the ball, whenever that was. All she needed now was a good place to wait it out. For some reason, the 111-foot high, one-windowed Detention Tower behind the school was the first place that came to mind.
