A smile crossed Angela's lips as the stairs leading down into the basement creaked, a figure descending the old steps. Though she didn't realize it, the intruder would be the first of many victims to satisfy her dark hunger.

With fangs glinting in the dim light, she lunged for the figure's neck just as she turned and-

FWAP

"Just what do you think you're doing," Winifred remarked, smacking Angela repeatedly with a rolled-up newspaper. "Do you have any idea who you're messing with?"

Whimpering (that sports section is really thick!), Angela pleaded, "I'm sssorry, Win, I just..."

"Win?" Winifred paused, finally noticing the old spellbook still lying open on its pedastal. "Angela, is that you? Did you screw around with advanced magics?"

After a short explanation, Winifred grabbed the book off the pedastal. "Come on, we're fixing this," replied Winifred. "I can't have you going around looking like something out of a cheap Blade knock-off."

"But I-" Angela stammered, before Winifred grabbed her ear & began to pull her along.

"No buts!" declared Winifred.
