I was at a comic convention selling my comic, The Underburbs [link] and I attended a Q&A with one Mr. Herb Trimpe. (More like the promoter just decided to park his Q&A in our part of Artist's Alley, but that's besides the point.) Anywy, Herb Trimpe worked at Marvel back in the 60's and was one of the main artists on The Hulk for eight years. It was interesting to hear from someone who's been in the business for that long, and how the industry has changed and all that.
Of course, the topic of the Hulk movie came up in the discussion, so I had to draw this. I showed it to Herb later, and he liked it! Here's hoping Ed Norton's Hulk won't have to fight giant dogs or a giant Nick Nolte. |
