Shantae: Half B-Girl Hero

This is my submission for the Kickstarter-funded Shantae: Half Genie Hero. You can find this artwork in the game itself, but I'll show it off here for those of you who haven't gotten it yet. Unsatisfied with my original idea, I went back and kept it simple, reimagining the belly-dancing genie as a breakdancing... um... well, still a genie I guess.

I went a little crazy with the background, but I think I wanted it to look like a Trapper Keeper. If you don't know what that is, then congratulations! You're not pushing forty!
