Trader Lydia series. Just felt like doing this for fun, as it's very rare that I draw purely for fun anymore. Well, I did it for fun and for the fact that I enjoy Dragon-FangX's simple but effective character designs. Which is also a form of fun I guess?
This also gave me a good excuse to break out my tablet and actually attempt digital inking. I made several preliminary sketches before doing the final one. This is one of the preliminaries. The final, which I had inked by hand and intended to simply color in Photoshop, sucks. This sketch was drawn loosely in ballpoint pen, so I just created another layer over it and went to town with the tablet. I didn't even use the paint bucket once!

Lol a fangtastic job as always. I've actually stopped using hand drawn stuff as of late, though I still seem to need a new sketchbook a few times a year due to them continually filling up.
