The good doctor and I both sincerely hope that no-one takes offense at the use of this entirely fictitious branch of the Nazi Party in this sequence. This is not meant to be taken seriously in any way. I mean, c'mon, a couple dudes turn to chicks after being doused in a pink gas. And yes, there happens to be a few swastikas thrown in. Okay, more than a few. But they're not really doing anything. And it's the backpacking Americans that instigate it. Not to insinuate that the Nazis are in the right, per se...

Dammit, now I'm overthinking it. Just enjoy.

But it's perfectly acceptable that they turn into women and develop phony German accents?

The gas masks are there because they were in the script. I just drew the thing. I even had to redraw the last page because I didn't include the gas masks.

Given the ludicrousness of the situation, I think it's okay to be flat out wrong with foreign languages. Or there's always the possibility that the entire Korps were all dudes once, and the titles just stuck.
