These magic lessons are a really creative idea. Stretching a character's ability to full extent in short little stories instead of an extremely long epic saga is a very fun project idea to play with. The backgrounds are amazing. I really love the color changes with the characters and in some i can see changes to the background itself. That is a very fun little detail that is not easy to spot on first glance. These are beautiful. They seem to be under a similar category of gothic horror without being too dark. It's sort of a childish fun, playful, dark like casper the friendly ghost or Tim Burton's stuff. Very interesting in really cool to look at! :D

Thanks! The writing has been a fun part of this series. I didn't think I'd get into that part as much as I did. Sometimes, I think the stories take longer than the art.

Based off an indie comic huh? Maybe I'll buy the first issue. Also this is a very nice series-ish sorta thing. Especially considering I literally knew nothing about the comic this is based on XD

Based off my indie comic, in fact. Well, me and another guy.

You can find the first issue and three trade paperbacks at IndyPlanet.com!

Also sorry for not buying paperback, I don't have a job and thus have a limited income.

Where is the start of this series? You might want to link to it up in the description.

I had never heard of a chain series before finding this. I really like how you make these pics fun with a detailed enough story for each, especially the epilogues!
