Replaying DKC 1 & 2 on Wii U. Reading Miiverse posts. Are RARE worshippers the worst people? I was there, man. They got sold back in the day because they were on the decline, and couldn't turn in a project on time to save their lives. Thanks for the memories, but come on.

Another repost account bites the dust! Just a reminder that it’s far easier to make a favorites folder than it is to edit my work and post it in your own gallery for minimal clout. I will know what it is, my fans will know what it is, and DMCA will know what it is.
My New Years resolution is to figure out how not to see anymore goddamn AI images on the front page of this friggin website. EDIT: found a setting I missed, thanks! Now I can go back to not improving myself at all in 2024!
Hey everybody. I’ve been getting a lot of notes/comments/etc asking when I’m going to open commissions again, and I simply don’t have an answer. Work has been very stressful lately, and I don’t have the free time or mental energy to put out good work, at least not good enough to be charging for. Maybe that day will come again, but until then I’ll try to sporadically post some of my older Patreon stuff.

RARE was a great luxury to have. If you've already got money, if you're already successful, they were the sort of high-investment, high-reward developers that took a solid and diverse slate of games and gave it that added oomph to make it legendary. DKC and Goldeneye were great, in part, because they existed alongside great Mario and Zelda games, rounding out the whole portfolio. But by the end of the N64 era, The Big N just didn't have enough of a software foundation to support a studio that worked like that. Yes, Lennon was a genius, but he wouldn't have been able to get to where he did without McCartney's consistent quality. And honestly, though I love the guy, he kinda fell off a cliff after the breakup, aside from a handful of diamonds.
