Angela's Magic Lesson - To Boldly Go by Mr-DNA Angela's Magic Lesson - To Boldly Go by Mr-DNA
This episode is brought to you by :iconcraptacular123:

A strange feeling came over Angela's head once again, but without the splitting pains this time. One by one, strange growths sprouted from Angela's head like small, useless tentacles. Angela batted her eyelashes as she observed her exposed skin developing dark spots. Her gloves and boots clung to her upper arms and thighs. Her dress vaccuumed onto her torso, like a form-fitting space suit. But the form it was fitting was very new to Angela. She stood bewildered for a moment as she took in her new self and her surroundings. If a single page of a book can do this, she thought, then Underborough is a truly fascinating place.

She could hardly wait to study its inhabitants and write a full report!

THE END ...or is it?

Kinda want to see regular Angela in that outfit, or something close to it, it's a neat design

Somewhere, William Shatner's hand is twitching, and he doesn't know why.

An equally really cool Alien design, all the yellows and golds here are really awesome, kinda reminds me of 1960s-ish aliens :O
That "Hair" also looks cool and I like how the Pumpkin onn her belt now has an antennae over this, definitely one of my more favorite end results

Hmm... the title is a Star Trek reference, but the head-tentacles remind me of Mass Effect's Asari...

Eh, I'll just says she's both. Saves me the headache.

The goal was to be any kind of "human with face paint and head applications" alien. Mass Effect always struck me as odd. It's a video game, so the possibilities for alien design are practically limitless, but everything looks like it's from Babylon 5.

You would think that, considering it doesn't have the normal limitations of TV, the designs would be way more out there. And yet the design for the Asari is... kind of lazy. And most else do look like props from an episode of Classic Doctor Who.

Yeah, you can tell that the point of the Asari was for them to be the 'sexy' species. ... Ironic when the fan fave of the romancable cast turned out to be Garrus.

To be fair, I've never played any of the Mass Effect series. I'm just going on my first impressions of seeing friends play it a little bit.

interestingly I'd say the hanar are easily achievable by babylon 5 standards?, to a degree I feel the general feel of mass effect was meant to be somewhat akin to the kind of scifi in babylon 5 or star trek, as opposed to a more adventurous design, to give us a somewhat familiar feeling on the alien races?

there's a threshold of how weird you can make a creature before it becomes too misshapen to relate to, and in a story driven game, not being able to relate woulda been killer
