I might pen a sequel someday, but I don't think we'll be revisiting Planet Zira any time soon. As Mr. DNA pointed out, this wasn't a very popular commission.

Probably never at this point. It was a commission (not a terribly popular one to boot), and the guy who wrote it has moved on to other things, like the Learning Japanese series.

A nice twist on an old classic! I wonder how they will fit into this new society? No male apes to reproduce with? Hmmmm....

This, and pretty much all of the things along these lines in my gallery, are commissions. They guy who commissions them from me actually writes them, and usually leaves them as cliffhangers on purpose. So I only continue them if the commissioner/writer wants to.

Pretty cool. I doubt I'll ever see a sequel to this (as you rarely do any for this type of comic) but I'd be very interested to see that.

That has as much to do with the guy who writes/commissions these. He tends to leave these sequences purposely open-ended.

"Where apes evolved from women"

...

I think my brain broke from the sheer absurdity that statement flings at the theory of evolution.

After the nuclear war, there were mostly women and children left in bunkers. After countless millennia of reproduction, the radiation seeped through. Soon, less and less males were being born. This was due to a radioactive disease that affected the Y chromosome. To counter this, evolution pushed humans back millions of years to allow us to reproduce A-sexually. Evolution continued, but the body always stayed the same, except for posture and size. Now, the Femapes brains are more advanced than humans, who have been affected by the radiation, and become like animals. With no more need for males, the sex died out, an unneccisary burden.

Also, was the spelling "SLPASH" intentional?

Funny story about that. One of my first jobs was at Splash Car Wash. The manager gave me the keys so I could open and close by myself. The keychain had a label that said "Slpash" on it.

I almost think SLPASH is a better sound effect. There's more impact in the PASH part.

This is the weaker of the TG comics you've been commissioned, in my opinion, but it shined in the dialogue references.

so, uhm, score one for the creepy planet?
